OSDA Solar has officially obtained the UL certification for PV modules issued by TÜV Rheinland. As an OSHA-recognized Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), UL certification from TÜV Rheinland serves as a mandatory entry pass for solar products entering the US and Canadian markets. It is also a key reference for North American EPC contractors and project investors when assessing module safety and bankability.

The certification covers OSDA Solar’s full portfolio of dual-glass modules. Distinct from the general IEC standards, North American UL safety standards impose stricter test requirements for PV modules, including electrical safety, fire performance, mechanical load, intensive UV ageing, high-low temperature cycling and other extreme-condition verifications. These tests fully replicate harsh outdoor conditions across North America such as heavy snow, intense solar irradiance and large day-night temperature swings. The full dual-glass product lineup passed all rigorous tests in one go, validating the consistent performance of OSDA dual-glass modules in encapsulation technology, material selection and long-term power generation reliability.

Featuring bifacial power generation, low degradation and outstanding weather resistance, dual-glass modules are well suited for North American C&I solar plants and utility-scale ground-mounted projects. With this UL certification in place, OSDA’s full-range dual-glass modules comply with the latest North American safety codes. The products are ready for supply to residential, commercial & industrial and large utility-scale PV projects in North America. This further completes the company’s global certification matrix and removes market access barriers for North American projects.
