First Prize: Hydrogen-Electric Collaboration to Enhance High-Penetration Renewable Energy Dispatch

The project titled "Key Technologies for Precise State Perception and Intelligent Dispatch of Hydrogen-Electric Hybrid Energy Storage Systems for High-Penetration Renewable Energy" was awarded the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress.

The project was led by Xie Xiaoliang, President of Osda Group, with Shandong Osda New Energy Co., Ltd. collaborating with partner institutions to conduct joint research and development. The work focused on key challenges in energy storage state perception, multi-energy coordinated control, and intelligent dispatch under high-penetration renewable energy scenarios.

Through precise state monitoring and collaborative optimization of hydrogen energy, electrochemical energy storage, and renewable energy generation systems, the project enables intelligent matching between renewable generation, storage systems, and energy consumption loads. This helps improve renewable energy utilization, grid regulation capacity, and supply stability.

The technology can be applied to renewable energy plants, integrated energy storage stations, industrial parks, and regional microgrids, providing technical support for coordinated operation and intelligent dispatch of multi-energy systems.

Second Prize: AI-Based Dual Forecasting to Drive Source-Load-Storage Collaborative Optimization

The project titled "AI-Based Renewable Energy-Load Dual Forecasting and Source-Load Collaborative Optimization Configuration Technology and Application" was awarded the Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress.

The project was led by Pang Jian, Director of Osda Group's Power Business Unit, with Ningbo Osda Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. responsible for commercialization and technology transfer. The project addresses practical challenges in renewable energy output fluctuation, customer load variation, and system configuration efficiency by introducing AI-based dual forecasting algorithms to predict both renewable generation and energy consumption loads, optimizing the dispatch strategy between PV, storage, and loads accordingly.

In commercial and industrial park applications, the technology enables dynamic adjustment of storage system charge/discharge strategies based on generation and load variations, improving renewable energy utilization, reducing peak-hour electricity costs, and alleviating the need for transformer upgrades caused by load growth.

Beyond commercial and industrial user-side applications, the technology can also serve zero-carbon parks, smart microgrids, and integrated energy projects, providing support for coordinated configuration and intelligent operation across source, grid, load and storage systems.

Innovation as the Foundation for Integrated Energy Solutions

The two Science and Technology Progress Awards represent a significant milestone in Osda Group's long-term commitment to renewable energy R&D and engineering applications. They also reflect the group's strategic evolution — from single-product capabilities toward multi-energy coordination, system integration, and intelligent operations.

Osda Group has built a business portfolio covering PV products and systems, residential and C&I energy storage, utility-scale storage, and power and energy project development, while continuously strengthening R&D and application in AI, energy management, multi-energy complementarity, and intelligent dispatch.

Looking ahead, Osda Group will continue to deepen innovation across PV, energy storage, power systems, and smart energy management, driving the application of R&D outcomes across diverse scenarios — from households and commercial-industrial parks to large-scale renewable plants and regional energy systems. The group is committed to strengthening its capabilities in project development, system integration, intelligent dispatch, and energy operations, with the goal of becoming a leading global provider of integrated smart energy solutions.
